Enhance your skillset and install high specification ironwork reinstatement materials to the highest of standards with UCARS – the UltraCrete Accredited Reinstatement Specification.

UltraCrete are passionate about training and have been advocates and supporters of providing opportunities for enhanced learning and education for many years. With this in mind, they are delighted to bring you UCARS – a systematic training guide to installing high specification ironwork reinstatement materials.

Held at UltraCrete’s bespoke training facilities in Tamworth, or on-site, UCARS is the ideal opportunity for highway operatives to enhance their skill set by learning how to install ironwork reinstatement materials in order to comply with British standards and specifications.

Consisting of both classroom-based theory and practical demonstrations, UCARS will guide you through every stage of an ironwork reinstatement including carriageway classifications, chamber preparation, bedding systems, backfill and surface courses, and culminates in trainees having the opportunity to mix and apply UltraCrete materials themselves.

What’s more, attendees will also benefit from ongoing on-site support and assistance with future installations.

The career progression and benefits to the individual are clear to see, but what is fantastic about UCARS is that the industry benefits too. As more operatives become UCARS accredited, the greater the knowledge within the industry about the importance of using approved materials and best practice methods will be, resulting in fewer failures and increased productivity.

UCARS is delivered by Richard Moss, UltraCrete Brand Manager and Nick Holmes, Technical Training and Site Support Manager – highway experts with over 20 years of experience. To book your place on an upcoming UCARS event please visit instarmactrainingacademy.co.uk, or to find out more please contact UltraCrete by calling +44 (0) 1827 254402 or emailing ultracrete@instarmac.co.uk.
