Fitzgerald Lighting

Fitzgerald Lighting has just launched a new industrial luminaire designed for subways and walkways as well as prisons, police cells and stations.

The LED Stronghold is a high specification, high quality luminaire manufactured from mild steel with a white lacquered finish and a flat, vandal-resistant opal polycarbonate diffuser. It has been tested to BSI 66662 up to and beyond an IK10 impact rating.

The new LED Stronghold luminaire is designed to attain Anti-Ligature status and is tested to the requirement of the National Offenders Management Services.

Two versions of the LED Stronghold luminaire are available: a surface mounted fitting and a corner mounted design both available in ten wattages and lengths from 11W and 720mm long to 66W and 1910mm long. Made to IP65 rating, all LED Stronghold luminaires are suitable for internal or external applications. The LED Stronghold uses the latest in LED technology for long lamp life and maximum energy savings. For example, the 66W Stronghold luminaire saves some 53% energy against a comparable twin 58W T8 fitting. Also, as the LEDs in the Stronghold luminaire have a 50,000 hour life there is no lamp maintenance whereas the T8 equivalent will require three lamp changes over a similar life.

There are a number of control gear options available on the product. The standard luminaire comes with a constant output driver and there are 1-10V and DALI addressable dimming options and a 3-hour maintained emergency option available too. LED lamp colour temperature is 850 as standard or available as colour 840 as an option. Occupancy and daylight sensor options are also available on this product. The Stronghold luminaire can incorporate Fitz-i giving a wireless connection for recording and monitoring remotely and also saving site emergency lighting testing requirements.

Carrying a five year warranty, the LED Stronghold luminaires come in a white painted and lacquered finish as standard but are also available in a silver or black finish.

Further information on the LED Stronghold luminaires is available from Fitzgerald Lighting on 01208 79524 by emailing info@fitzlight.co.uk or by visiting the website at www.fitzlight.co.uk
