Two 24kW Clas HE System evo boilers from Ariston have been installed inside a refurbished Victorian house in Colchester, Essex. The four-bedroom property, which was previously an old people’s home, now relies on one boiler to heat the underfloor system on the ground floor, while the other supplies hot water and space heating to the radiators and towel rails upstairs.
The boilers, which are supplemented with cylinders for hot water storage and provision, were installed in May 2015 by Halstead-based Paul Turner Heating & Plumbing.
Commenting on the installation, Paul Turner said: “This was a very large property, so it was going to require a fair bit of heat. As there were different heating circuits and flow temperatures upstairs compared to downstairs, it made sense to use a separate boiler for each floor. This allowed each heating circuit to operate at different water temperatures. When selecting which boilers were best for this property, we opted for a couple from the Ariston Clas HE System evo range.”
He continued: “Ariston boilers are so simple and straightforward to install; I’ve used them on a number of projects previously and never had any problems. The Clas HE System evo models are very energy efficient and extremely reliable, as well as easy to control, which made them perfect for this project. Plus, the company offers excellent technical back-up and support, so should any issues arise, they can be rectified quickly and professionally.”
Clas HE System evo boilers have the best-in-class NOx emissions and offer efficiencies of up to 90%. The ‘A’ ErP rated range comprises three models, with outputs of 18kW, 24kW and 30kW. All boilers use a proven stainless steel heat exchanger and feature an ‘AUTO’ function which monitors the ideal temperature for the heating system – reducing peaks in flow temperature and optimising efficiency.
The Clas HE System evo boiler range is also compatible with Ariston’s extensive offering of wired and wireless controls. And for complete peace of mind, all Clas HE System evo models come with a five-year guarantee as standard, while extended warranties of 8 and 12 years are also available.
