Walsall Council will continue to support local residents and businesses through tough economic times and we have been under way with a significant programme of change for some time, affecting every area of our work. We will make optimum use of our resources and we are now looking for a Head of Human Resources to help to meet this challenge effectively through our staff and with key partners.
This will be an important and highly influential role, at a pivotal moment for Walsall.
Quite simply we need you to provide visionary and inspirational Human Resources leadership to enable and support the delivery of valued services to our customers. As part of this brief we need you to build a flexible, high performing Human Resources service focussed on supporting key strategic priorities and demonstrating its value.

Someone who values employee engagement as much as we do and remains focused on what we are delivering as we strive to continuously improve. In return, we offer a high profile and rewarding role that will provide you with valuable experience and the opportunity to effect real change and measurable results.
