    Major transformation has seen us review our entire Senior Management structure and in this new role, you'll be right at the heart of it.

    Providing key advice that will steer our strategic direction, leading your team to deliver and develop services by working closely with the senior management team on various different business development opportunities.

    This is an exceptional role with the scope to make a significant impact on our future – and shape the way our services are delivered at all levels. To achieve that, you will need to be driven and able to find creative solutions to complex issues. A broad legal background and a proven track record in public sector legal services at a strategic corporate level is essential.

    Experience as a Monitoring Officer and of working on a major planning regeneration project is important too, as are first-rate communication skills and the ability to influence and develop positive relationships with a wide range of people. It is essential you ensure that the Council maintains effective corporate governance and that the Council is advised of it legal position on all relevant matters.
