WJ Linkline Group

WJ Linkline Group demonstrated why it is the market leading specialist road marking contractor, at the Westpoint Showground in Exeter recently. Led by their South West Team, WJ advertised the commitment and considerable investment in research & development as well as highlighting the scale of the group operations.

At the premier West Country venue WJ showcased some of their latest innovative products and services that have been created as a direct result of their in house technical and engineering development endeavours. The WJ development programme is motivated by experience, listening to client needs and a desire for safe, environmentally responsible and efficient service delivery.

The regional event was attended by over 60 delegates and supported by the Institute of Highway Engineers IHE with a programme of CPD endorsed technical presentations followed by practical demonstrations providing a real understanding of these new technologies.

Group Managing Director Wayne Johnston said “We are pleased to have the opportunity to profile our new products and services but more importantly I wanted feedback from our clients to ensure we are providing the solutions they need and solutions that help the industry move forward”.

Weatherline Plus high performance road marking, TfL approved Weathergrip coloured demarcation surfacing, the unique FastTrack rapid cure marking system, Hydroblast ultra high pressure water removal and retexturing processes as well as the new Allux 290 permanent road stud all proved of prodigious interest to the delegates.

Feedback was unquestionably positive and encouraging with praise and recognition for the WJ ethos of innovation helping develop new ways to do things as well as improving existing methods of maintenance on our highway network.

Stephen Palmer CEO of the IHE commented “What I have seen is certainly impressive and do believe this sort of industry driven event provides real benefit for our members”

WJ would like to thank the IHE and everyone who was able to attend the technical day and confirm that they are already on with plans for a similar event in the near future.

WJ believe the essence of their success is delivery and providing unrivalled local service from strategically located regional depots.
