A team of road repair experts have headed to Swansea west as part of an intensive pothole-fixing scheme.
Swansea Council’s £750,000 Priority Action for Community Highways (PATCH) scheme is a 36-week initiative to fix potholes and other road-related problems across the city.
The team have already visited 20 communities since April and will now focus on the west of the city.
Cllr June Burtonshaw, Swansea Council's cabinet member for place, said: ‘We know the condition of our roads is hugely important for our residents. This why road repair and maintenance work continues to merit our focus and investment in these difficult economic times.’
Regular inspections of roads and pedestrianised areas are undertaken by safety teams to identify road defects, and the council’s PATCH team is on hand 24/7 to respond to emergencies.
